Vintage Weekend 2

Our second year is shaping up to be bigger and better than our anaugural event in 2010.

The American Street Rod Association has announced the schedule for the 2011 Vintage Weekend! It's going to be a lot of fun! Here is the information below: 

Thursday-September 29^th

Event Registration: Host Hotel-Quarters Inn from 2-6pm

• 4pm - (“Taylor Studio” tour) Meet at the T+T Tap
• 5:30pm - Rantoul ASRA Cruise
• 6-10pm - T+T Tap Dinner/Dance, Featuring Back Paiges (Volunteer Appreciation)

Friday–September 30^th

Registration runs from 8am-6pm at Quarters Inn

• 8am - Event Opens, Vendors, Displays, Swap Meet, Metal Working Demo, Air Museum Tours, Airplane Rides, Event pictures/vintage planes (Tom Frasca P-40 and others), Rod Shop-Roger Campbell and crew (repair)
• 10am - Presentation of colors
• 10am - Carnival Opens
• TBD - Monster truck display/demo
• TBD-Illinois State Police Rollover Demo
• 11am - Slot and Wing Radio controlled car and plane demo
• 2pm - Reveille-Kids make and take until 4pm
• 3pm - Slot and Wing Radio controlled car and plane demo
• 4pm - Retirement of colors
• 6:30pm - Hardy’s Reindeer Ranch dinner/show
• 8pm - Carnival Closes
• TBD - Drive-In Movie

SATURDAY – OCT. 1, 2011

Registration runs from 8am-2pm at Quarters Inn and Suites

• 8am - Event opens, Vendors, Displays, Swap Meet, Metal Working Demo, Air Museum Tours, Airplane Rides, Event pictures/vintage planes (Tom Frasca P-40 and others), Rod Shop-Roger Campbell and crew (repair)
• 10am - Presentation of colors. 
• 10am - Carnival opens
• 10am-Hardy's Reindeer Ranch Ladies Tour
• TBD - Monster truck display/demo
• TBD - Super Slots Drag Racing
• 1:30 - Dacy Airshow
• 11am - Slot and Wing Radio controlled car and plane demo
• 2pm - Reveille-Kids make and take
• 3pm-Slot and Wing Radio controlled car and plane demo
• 3pm - Entertainment featuring the "Caleb Cook Band"
• 6pm - T+T Tap Dinner/Dance Featuring Ryan Ideus and the Feuden Hillbillies
• 8pm - Carnival closes
• TBD - Drive-In Movie

Sunday–October 2^nd

• 8am - Event opens, Vendors, Displays, Swap Meet, Metal Working Demo, and Air Museum Tours, Airplane Rides, Event pictures/vintage planes (Tom Frasca P-40 and others), etc.
• 9am - Worship Service
• 10am - Presentation of colors
• 10am - Carnival opens
• 11am - Slot and Wing Radio Controlled Car/Plane Demo
• 2pm - Prize/Award Giveaways
• 2:30pm-Retirment of colors
• 3pm - Carnival closes
• 3pm - Event ends

Online & mail in registration is now closed due to time constraints of mailing materials. Please register on site at the host hotel, Quarters Inn & Suites, Thursday, September 29 from 2-6pm, Friday, September 30 from 8am-6pm and Saturday, October 1 from 8am to Noon.
